Joseph “Joe” Pata is the newest member of the Transworld Business Advisors Charlotte-Downtown office. He brings to the team over 30 years of experience in the Financial Services industry and is the owner of several successful businesses.
Joe spent most of his career as a Vice President at Bank of America Corporation and holds the Six Sigma Black Belt professional distinction. During his tenure he had the opportunity to drive mergers and acquisitions with Fleet, Swiss and Merrill Lynch and served in leadership positions improving technology and reducing risks.
Receiving a Computer Science degree from St. Johns University propelled Joe into the business field and he later earned an MBA in Management Information Systems from Pace University.
As a tireless leader in his community, Joe is currently a member of the Charlotte Chamber and has served on numerous boards including the Levine Senior Center, Matthews Habitat for Humanity and Centralina Government Board. Joe served 8 years as a Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation commissioner and also chaired the athletic advisory and special needs advisory boards.
Joe lives in Charlotte and is the proud father of three sons and one beautiful daughter and looks forward to a long and prosperous career with the Transworld family.
