Fort Lauderdale, FL- Transworld Business Brokers held a month long drive to collect items to send to the soldiers overseas in honor of Veterans Day. Transworld brokers throughout the state collected enough items to ship 41 care packages overseas.
Andrew Cagnetta, President and CEO of Transworld Business Brokers, LLC said, “I am very impressed with the amount of people that came together to help this drive be as successful as it has been. On top of everything that our brokers donated, I was at a Business Brokers of Florida meeting and we announced that we were holding this drive, members all came together and we collected over $700 in a matter of a few hours. I went to Wal-Mart with the money and filled carts with footballs, holiday decorations, birthday decorations, books, toiletries; you name it we sent it over.”
The drive started from an email that was forwarded to Cagnetta regarding anysoldier.com and the project was launched immediately. The team leaders were all veterans. The boxes were also stuffed with a personalized letter from Cagnetta and brokers business cards so the soldiers can keep in touch.
