His undergraduate degree is from the University of Oregon and, while working full-time, he earned his MBA at Portland State University. Michael’s lifelong passions are all about adventure. His most recent venture combined his entrepreneurial spirit and his avocation, mountain biking, when he co-founded and co-owned The Lumberyard Indoor Bike Park. This business was a year-round recreational haven for thousands of kids and adults which operated from 2012 through 2022. There, he served as the CFO and developed all the operational systems and processes for the business. This endeavor followed a career in corporate high-tech, various start-ups, and consulting where he excelled at solving complex problems, reduced product support costs, and developed in-depth business plans. Throughout his career, he built equity through a variety of real estate projects such as house renovations and acquiring income properties, as well as investing in a modular luxury home manufacturing company building product for the Colorado resort market.
