July 2, 2015- DENVER, CO, July 2, 2015 Transworld Business Advisors of Denver is pleased to announce its first-ever "Charity Ascent" hike to raise funds, awareness and support for Junior Achievement-Rocky Mountain, Inc. their 2015 philanthropic partner. The hike to the summit of Mount Sherman, one of Colorado's premier 14ers, will be held August 7, 2015 beginning at 7am, followed by a post-hike party at 10am.

This unique fundraising event is the brainchild of Transworld CEO Jessica Fialkovich. As a young entrepreneur herself, Fialkovich understands the necessity of entrepreneurial education and opportunities in today's school systems. She and husband, Al, chose to partner with Junior Achievement to deliver work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy programs for 126,000 students in the Denver-metro area during the 2015/16 school year at no cost to the schools.

Both hikers and non-hikers are encouraged to participate in this unique and exciting Charity Ascent. The suggested registration fee is $100 per hiker and $50 per non-hiker with a maximum of 50 hikers. This fee will cover an event T-shirt, along with lunch and non-alcoholic beverages at the post-hike party. Additional monetary and in-kind donations are welcome. Hikers will be split into groups of ten or less based on ability and will ascend via the Southwest Ridge Trail which is 5.25 miles round-trip with a 2100 feet elevation gain. It is rated a Class 2, Easiest 14er. Interested participants, donors and volunteers can learn more about the Charity Ascent by visiting our website.
