It is one of the most innovative manufacturers of quality diamond cutting tools in the industry with over 300 clients located across the country. The business sold in 86 days from the time of listing to the time of closing. The average business sells in 8.6 months. The sale was a result of a structured Transworld process that included several strategic and financial buyers. The sale includes the Texas Diamond Tool brand, a fully equipped 6,900 SF office and warehouse located on 1.7 acres, an established base of over 300 nationwide clients, a proprietary manufacturing process, manufacturing equipment, and a team of well-trained employees. The owners, Bill and Linda Bridwell, have agreed to continue working in the company.
The business attracted an impressive amount of interest from both strategic and financial buyers. Buyers were attracted to Texas Diamond Tools’ strong brand recognition, historic profitability, national clientele, proven manufacturing process, real estate inclusion, impressive employees, and national growth potential.
The new owner is Mr. Xiaoping Hu. Mr. Hu is a successful international businessman who has successfully owned and operated businesses in China and the Middle East. Mr. Hu came to Transworld Business Advisors shortly after TDT was listed seeking a strategic business purchase to complement and leverage his other thriving companies outside of the U.S. He looked at several Transworld businesses but immediately recognized the value of Texas Diamond Tools. After an introduction to the sellers by Transworld, he quickly reached a deal to purchase their business.
