Katherine Curl

Katherine Curl is a Senior Business Advisor with Transworld Business Advisors of South & West Texas, bringing a unique combination of entrepreneurial, multi-unit operational, and real estate experience to business brokerage. With more than a decade of experience in real estate and firsthand knowledge as a multi-unit franchise owner and operator, Katherine has a strong background in contracts, negotiation, client representation, and the realities of building and growing a business. As a multi-unit business owner, Katherine led the strategic growth and expansion of her business, including site selection, lease review and negotiation, build-outs and leasehold improvements, expansion funding, and the development of operational infrastructure to support growth. Her leadership experience includes overseeing an organization of more than 100 employees, with particular strengths in leadership development, hiring, systems and processes, and customer experience. Having sat in the owner's chair herself, Katherine understands that a business represents far more than numbers on a financial statement. For many owners, it represents years of sacrifice, risk, relationships, and an enormous investment of time and energy. She believes representing someone's business comes with a responsibility to understand what they have built, protect what matters to them, and guide them through the transaction with integrity and discretion. Katherine holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Management and lives in Fort Worth, Texas. Outside of her professional work, she is a mother, an active member of her community, and an advocate for individuals and families impacted by domestic violence. She serves in a volunteer advisory capacity with a local nonprofit organization and enjoys running, fitness, and staying active.
