A Buffalo native, Olivia Goldstein has spent her career building, investing in, growing, and supporting businesses across Upstate New York.
Her background spans entrepreneurship, operations, investing, marketing, and economic development. Olivia co-founded and sold a technology company, became a General Partner at StartFast Ventures, and later served as CEO of Upstate Venture Connect, where she worked closely with hundreds of founders and business owners across the region. She has been on multiple sides of the table as a founder, investor, operator, and seller which gives her a practical understanding of what makes a business valuable and what makes a transition successful.
Olivia is especially drawn to businesses people would miss if they closed - companies with loyal customers, strong reputations, good people, and a real role in their communities. She enjoys working with owners who have spent years building something meaningful and want to make sure the next chapter protects what they created.
Her experience is particularly strong in growth, marketing, brand building, B2B sales, partnerships, and business strategy. For Olivia, selling a business is about both maximizing value and protecting what the owner has built: the employees, customers, reputation, and finding the right next owner to carry the business forward.
