Thanh Duong is a Senior Business Broker with Transworld Business Advisors of South & West Texas, New Mexico, and Wyoming. He built his career sitting across the table from business owners, learning their numbers, understanding their pressures, and helping them make some of the most consequential financial decisions of their lives. That experience is what he brings to every conversation at Transworld—not just analytical horsepower, but a genuine understanding of what it means to have everything invested in a business you've built. Before joining Transworld, Thanh built his career at the intersection of business advisory, M&A, and small business growth. He has worked directly with owners on strategy, operations, pricing, and cash flow, not just analyzing the numbers, but helping translate them into decisions that moved the business forward. He has guided companies through periods of growth and periods of stress, developing plans and then rolling up his sleeves to help execute them. On the transaction side, he has evaluated numerous acquisitions from the buy side, led due diligence on multi-million-dollar transactions, and built valuations for businesses across a wide range of sizes and industries. That combination of knowing how businesses operate from the inside and how they are evaluated from the outside is what makes him a different kind of broker. Thanh holds an MBA in Finance from Rice University Jones Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Science from University of Houston Conrad N. Hilton College.
