Selling Your Restaurant Business

Selling Your Restaurant Business

We recently sold the Great Harvest Bread Company in Cary, NC. The owners of this business (husband & wife team) both worked in the business and they had built an amazing business that was very profitable.

Selling a restaurant can be one of the most difficult of all business sales and COVID hasn't made restaurant sales any easier. Fortunately, this business performed well during COVID, which demonstrated just how strong this business actually was.

The rule of thumb for restaurants is a multiple of 2 of SDE for well-performing businesses. The higher the SDE, the higher the multiple might be.
